Commercial Window Cleaning at OPG – 1855 Energy Drive, Courtice

Skypole is proud to provide ongoing commercial window cleaning services for Ontario Power Generation (OPG) at their Courtice facility located at 1855 Energy Drive. This impressive and environmentally forward campus serves as a key operations and administrative hub for OPG, and its glass architecture requires consistent maintenance to reflect the professionalism and sustainability values of the organisation.

Our team performs bi-annual window cleaning at this site, using pure water-fed pole systems and traditional methods to ensure streak-free results across all accessible glass surfaces. With multiple wings and exterior-facing glass panels spanning several floors, each visit requires strategic planning, onsite safety assessments, and coordination with OPG’s facility team to minimise disruption during working hours.

Challenges at this site include working around landscaped areas, pedestrian walkways, and sections of the building that receive high exposure to wind-blown debris and environmental staining. Despite these factors, Skypole ensures a high standard of clarity and cleanliness every spring and fall visit.
