City of Vaughan – Vaughan City Hall

The project focused on the detailed removal of dust and debris from elevated architectural wall panels, perforated metal finishes, signage areas, ledges, and hard-to-access vertical surfaces throughout the atrium space. Due to the immense height and modern design of the interior, specialised access equipment and controlled cleaning methods were required to safely complete the work while minimising disruption within the facility.

Using lightweight carbon-fibre pole systems, our technicians cleaned extensive vertical surfaces from ground level with remarkable precision and control. Skyjack lifts were then used for detailed access work in areas requiring closer contact and elevated positioning.

The dark perforated wall panels presented a unique challenge, as airborne dust and fine debris became highly visible under the atrium’s natural light and reflective finishes. Our team used specialised soft-brush vacuuming and detailing methods designed to safely remove buildup while preserving the integrity of the architectural coatings and textured surfaces.

The towering atrium created an atmosphere somewhere between civic landmark and futuristic canyon of steel and glass, with technicians guiding carbon fibre poles upward through the space like precision instruments reaching into the rafters of a modern cathedral.
