Commercial Window Cleaning at 6885 Kennedy Road, Mississauga
Property Manager
Our work at Property Manager
Skypole continues its long-standing service relationship with the logistics and office complex located at 6885 Kennedy Road in Mississauga. This property operates as a hybrid facility—serving both as a logistics and warehousing centre as well as a corporate head office for various tenants. With its large-scale glass façades, clerestory windows, and active loading docks, the building presents a unique mix of structural and operational challenges for window cleaning.
Scope of Work
- Exterior Window Cleaning using a combination of water-fed poles, boom lifts, and rope access techniques.
- Interior Glass Cleaning including office partitions, boardroom panels, and hard-to-reach high windows.
- Multi-level façade work, from ground-level showroom glass to high perimeter parapet sections.
Challenges
This job site poses several recurring challenges:
- Busy Loading Areas: High forklift and vehicle traffic required our team to schedule around peak operating hours.
- Access Limitations: Different elevations and overhangs meant a hybrid solution of lift work and rope access was essential.
- Environmental Exposure: The proximity to trucking and warehousing activity introduces grime and airborne contaminants that settle on glass surfaces more quickly than usual.
Despite these challenges, Skypole’s experienced crew navigated the job safely and efficiently, using purified water systems and soft scrub techniques to ensure a streak-free finish.
Results
Skypole has provided consistent, high-quality results at this location year after year. The building’s managers continue to rely on our services to maintain a clean, professional appearance for both staff and visiting clients. The result is a brighter, more welcoming workplace and glass that stays cleaner for longer thanks to our detailed work and strategic scheduling.
